Fernandez, Carlos and Noemi
Biography
Carlos and Noemi Fernandez are global missionaries in the Church of the Nazarene. They had served in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, and Spain.
After serving in Spain for 5 years, on October 8th, the Fernandez moved to Buenos Aires, Argentina, to serve at South America Region.
Carlos received his Doctorate degree from N.T.S., the M.M. from Point Loma Nazarene College, and the B.A. from Southern Cone Seminario Nazareno in Pilar, Buenos Aires. Argentina. Noemi graduated from Argentina Christian School as an elementary school teacher.
Prior to their missionary appointment, Carlos and Noemi held pastorates for more than twenty years in Buenos Aires, as well as in Phoenix, Arizona, for more than seven years. They planted two churches in South Phoenix and Peoria for the Southwest Latin American District.
For 11 years, Carlos served as field strategy coordinator at the Southern Cone Field in South America, for five years in Spain as District Superintendent and now he is serving in South America Region in Leadership Development, Regional Literature, and Regional Jesus Film and Evangelism.
Carlos and Noemi are third and fourth generation Nazarenes, respectively. They have three married children, Adriana, Karina, and Carlos, Jr and four grandchildren.
