Baggott, Spencer and April
Biography
Spencer and April Baggott are missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene on the Africa Region. They were appointed to the Africa Region in August of 2007. They lived in Senegal in West Africa for language acquisition and are now assigned to the French Equatorial Field. They now live in Kigali, Rwanda.
Spencer’s assignment is assisting the Field Strategy Coordinator for the continental portion of the field. He is also the Field Education Coordinator. He will be involved in training on the field as it pertains to the areas of discipleship, evangelism, church structure, church administration, and pastoral education to meet ordination requirements for pastors. April will be working in the areas of mission finance and children’s ministries.
Spencer received a BA in Religion with an emphasis in Pastoral Ministries from Trevecca Nazarene University. Spencer also received a certificate of cross cultural ministries from Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. Prior to their appointment they pastored churches in Nashville, TN; Springdale, AR, and Lake City, FL.
April received a BS degree in Education from Trevecca Nazarene University. April also received a certificate of Cross Cultural Ministries from Nazarene Theological Seminary in Kansas City, MO. She has served in many ministry capacities throughout their pastoral assignments.
The Baggotts have two children: Lucas (6/18/02) and Abigail (3/2/04)
