Elliott, Collin and Shireen
Biography
Collin and Shireen Elliot are missionaries on specialized assignment with the Church of the Nazarene. They were appointed in April, 2000.
Elliot is busy with his Master's thesis with the South African Theological Seminary. Shireen is working towards ordination.
Collin's field responsibilities include: the field office administration, being the chair to district assemblies, the missionary care of 31 Nazarenes in Volunteer Service and other missionaries, and overseeing all institutions on the Field and the field has 23 districts. Prior to becoming a missionary Collin pastored different churches since 1983. He was the District Superintendent from 1996-1999, and he was an assistant to the field director from 1999-2000. He was appointed Field Director in April 2000. His vision is to see each of the districts on the Africa South field, reach Phase 3 status and to become self-supporting.
Shireen's field responsibilities are as office manager for the field office, she is also the General Assembly Coordinator for the Africa region. Prior to this assignment she was the Regional Conference Coordinator in November 2003.
The Elliot's have two children: Peter-Collin Elliot (1987), and Amy Elliot (1989).
