Manswell, Anthony and Barbara
Biography
Anthony and Barbara Manswell are global missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene assigned to Caribbean Nazarene Theological College in Trinidad.
Anthony graduated with a Bachelor of Theology from Canadian Nazarene College in 1990. He received a Masters of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary in 1994. While at NTS, he was in the Honors Program with a concentration in Doctrinal Theology. Anthony’s call is to minister anywhere in the world where God desires him to do ministry. This has always been his deep conviction since he fully committed his life to God. He is currently serving as Academic Dean and professor at CNTC. Prior to their appointment, Anthony held the following positions: Youth Minister, Evangelist, Spiritual Life Director, Pastor, Sunday school teacher, and Small Group Leader. He was on the District Board of Ministry and the District Advisory Board. He also served as Hospital Chaplain.
Barbara attended Canadian Nazarene College – University of Manitoba, and graduated in 1990 with a Bachelor of Education and a Bachelor of Music. She then attended Nazarene Theological Seminary and obtained an M.A. in Missiology in 1995. She taught in the public schools for 4 years, and was the Director of Caravans in their local church. She participated in four Youth In Mission projects. As only God could have arranged, she is now teaching the core music courses and private music lessons at CNTC. In February 1986, God called her to full-time Cross Cultural ministry.
The Manswells have four children: Kenrick (1997), Kavanah (1999), Jayedon (2001), and Jerrick (2003). The family’s home church is the Church of the Nazarene in Rimbey, Alberta, Canada.
