Biography

Scott and Gail Dooley are global missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene. They were assigned to Papua New Guinea in June 2003.

Scott graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 1995 with a B.A. in biology. He received his M.D. in 1999 from the University Of Kansas School Of Medicine. He completed his Family Practice Residency in 2002. Gail graduated from MidAmerica Nazarene University in 1995 with a B.S. degree in nursing.

Kudjip Nazarene Hospital is where the Dooley’s work, live and minister. Kudjip is a 100 bed hospital that sees 4-6,000 patients each month in outpatient clinic. Scott works alongside four other missionary doctors and a fully national staff of nurses. Gail has helped out teaching nursing students in the operating room and giving chemotherapy to cancer patients. Now she spends most of her time home schooling Emma and caring for Olivia. Allison attends the missionary kid school on the station.

The Dooley’s vision is to support the ongoing compassionate ministry and evangelism occurring through the work of the Nazarene Hospital in Papua New Guinea.
