Biography

Warren and Janet Neal are global missionaries for the Church of the Nazarene in East Timor.

Warren received a B.S. in nursing from Olivet Nazarene University in Kankakee, Illinois, in 1975.  He completed a Masters in community health nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University, Marion, Indiana, in 1990. Janet received the diploma in nursing from Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas, in 1968.   Both Warren and Janet are registered nurses.

The Neal’s first missionary assignment was to Papua New Guinea in 1979.  From February 2001 to present the Neals along with missionaries from the Asia Pacific Region have been pioneering the work of the Church of the Nazarene in the new nation of East Timor.

The Neals have three grown children and four grandchildren.
